See this thing? I MADE IT!
Added 2022-02-23 09:11:43 +0000 UTCThat terrifying looking shiny kitchen knife with the oak handle? I made that! The bottom left thing is a knife blank that inspired the shape of the blade, and the bottom right thing is a piece of steel the same size as the one I started with.
Video to follow...when I edit the massive amounts of footage down to something sensible, which could be a while, but here is a sneak peek of the results :)

It is sharpened. Currently it is still with the blacksmith as we ran out of time to put a pin in the guard to secure it to the handle, but I'm going back to pick it up next week, and then I shall attempt to cut things with it!
