Lot: Stojanovic Family House / "Leon's Auto Repairs"
Added 2021-06-11 22:34:00 +0000 UTCI mentioned that I was working on this lot and it was part of the reason for some of the changes I made to Linnie and Leon's characterizations. Anyway I'm really happy with how this one turned out and am happy to share it with you.
Anyway the original version of this was made by fumancucachu on the gallery and is originally made for Strangerville. The exteriors have mostly been left unaltered but I've adapted it to fit better into Oasis Springs (as I've built it up) which si where I've inteded for this to be placed, otherwise the major changes are to the interior space, excepting the workshop and office. The original had a living space in it, but I've edited it to barely fit a family of four.
As it's primarily styled it's working on the assumption that Linnie and Cara have moved out, so their rooms are now used for a second office and random storage space, but I included an alternate version of the lot as well with Cara and Linnie's teenage rooms and a flimsy room divider solution for Leon and Miranda's bed upstairs.
The big feature here and what I had the most fun making is to be found in the living room, someone I was chatting with suggested that I make an ofrenda table, using the sugar skull display case, with pictures of dead relatives as well as putting in pictures of other relatives. This involved generating a bunch of extended family members, taking and editing pictures and incorporating them in CC painting objects I put together specifically for this.
