Editorial 02/2024. Wenn Fügel wachsen/When wings grow.

Liebes Clubmitglied,

auch im Februar gibt es wieder ein Update aus der Chefredaktion. Und eines vorweg: Wir sind unglaublich stolz, dass wir, so viele neue Mitglieder im Club haben wie nie zuvor. Ich sage nur, wenn Flügel wachsen... Dafür möchte ich mich jedem einzelnen bedanken, denn nur durch Euch sind diese Produktionen überhaupt erst möglich.

Vor etwas mehr als 2 Jahren sahen wir uns gezwungen diesen Schritt zu gehen, da YouTube als Einnahmequelle höchst unberechenbar war und Monetarisierungsfunktionen quasi nach Belieben und ohne wirkliche nachvollziehbare Begründung eingeschränkt wurden. Und „eingeschränkte Monetarisierung“ bedeutet ca. 99% weniger Einnahmen, so dass der Begriff vielleicht nicht unbedingt zu treffend ist.

Anfangs war ich skeptisch, ob das mit Patreon klappen könnte, schließlich hängt verschiedenen Bezahlportalen ein zweifelhafter Ruf an, den wir kann nicht bekommen wollen. Wir stehen für Ästhetik, Inhalt, Schönheit, gepaart mit einer Prise weiblicher Sexiness.

Und der wie wir merken, der Plan geht auf! Mit dem Januar und dem Projekt „#SkiKosovo“ haben wir eine neuen Service implementiert. In Eurer App könnt Ihr nun wirklich noch schneller in den Chats viele Bilder von Vor-Ort sehen und unsere Moderatorinnen versorgen Euch mit allerlei interessanten Infos, die es nur und ausschließlich dort gibt.

Und auch im Januar 2024 haben wir es wieder einmal geschafft, die Anzahl der Beiträge im Vergleich zum Vorjahr nach oben zu schrauben. Es gibt mehr für das gleiche Geld, denn seit dem Start des IWM-Clubs gibt es keine Preiserhöhung trotz allgemeiner Inflation. Schon jetzt zeichnet sich ab, dass wir auch im Februar 2024 wieder mehr Inhalt veröffentlichen werden als im Vorjahr.

Darüber hinaus ist das Behind The Scenes Kosovo, das bisher umfangreichste seiner Art im Club. Schon in wenigen Tagen gibt es die Ankündigung zum Trip. Eines möchte ich an dieser Stelle schon verraten, es geht mit Tina auf die Reise und in den Flieger. Mehr dazu in gut einer Woche in der Preview auf…

An dieser Stelle möchte ich auch um etwas Nachsicht bitten, wenn Eure Kommentare oder Eure Privatnachrichten nicht sofort beantwortet werden, da die Moderatorinnen nicht ständig am Handy sind oder vielleicht auch einmal überhaupt nicht erreichbar sein wollen. Ich hoffe, dass Ihr das verstehen könnt.

Dear club member,

There will also be another update from the editor-in-chief in February. And one thing in advance: We are incredibly proud that we have more new members in the club than ever before. When wings grow, I like to say... We would like to say thank you to each and every one of them, because it is only because of you that these productions are possible.

A little over 2 years ago, we were forced to take this step because YouTube was a highly unpredictable source of income and monetization functions were limited almost at will and without any real, understandable justification. And “limited monetization” means about 99% less revenue, so the term may not necessarily be accurate.

At first I was skeptical as to whether this could work with Patreon, after all, various payment portals have a dubious reputation that we can't want to get. We stand for aesthetics, content, beauty, coupled with a pinch of female sexiness.

And as we notice, the plan is working! With January and the “#SkiKosovo” project we have implemented a new service. In your app you can now see many pictures from on-site in the chats even faster and our moderators will provide you with all sorts of interesting information that is only available there.

And in January 2024 we once again managed to increase the number of contributions compared to the previous year. There is more for the same money because since the launch of the IWM Club there has been no price increase despite general inflation. It is already apparent that we will publish more content again in February 2024 than in the previous year.

Additionally, Behind The Scenes Kosovo is the most extensive of its kind at the club to date. The announcement about the trip will be available in just a few days. I would like to reveal one thing at this point, I'm going on the trip with Tina and on the plane. More about this in just over a week in the preview on…

At this point I would also like to ask for some leniency if your comments or private messages are not answered immediately, as the moderators are not always on their cell phones or perhaps do not want to be reachable at all. I hope you can understand that.
