Added 2023-02-22 06:01:00 +0000 UTCThe end is in sight! With only one more scene to wrap up before Beta 0.06 drops, I've got one of the last alpha's for you all. I'll be making another post about progress before the end of February. For now, here's the changelog for the latest build:
- Added a drain access to the rec room kitchen and sauna which all link up beneath the rec room floors
- Fixed more grammar issues
- Fixed phase gates not working properly
- The People of the Wave are now only accessible after a special event is triggered on the diving board at the right time of day
- All planned bar events have been scripted(Including a new butt crush scene with Joanne)
- Fixed Stephanie bath event
- Raised limit preventing awareness from increasing more than 40% at a time to 50%
- Slightly increased the rate at which risk increases in general
- Fixed problem with "debug ge" command preventing it from working as intended
- More tweaks to everyTurn script that keeps giants at the awareness they were at before entering a giant event
NOTES: To initiate new Joanne stuff tied specific to her cult following, climb the diving board during the afternoon when the cult is up top. There will be a text prompt when they are there. Use the debug affection command to raise Joanne's affection above 50% to see a separate ending with two further paths. This 'good' branch also gives you the opportunity to unlock a new NPC as well as access the People of the Waves' hideout in the drains. If Joanne's affection is below 50%, she'll just eat you every single time.
NOTES2: Stephanie's private room event now ends correctly with some very simple scenes. She also will drop you outside of her door on the second floor giving the player a legit way to get to the second floor.
