Alpha build 222
Added 2022-06-16 17:57:27 +0000 UTCI just wanted to post an official update here on the patreon outside of the discord. So far, a lot of progress has been made for 0.05. I can't be sure of a release, but I would say sometime early to mid July.
All of the work I intend to do on Tina, as a side event, has been done. In the latest build two new characters, Joanne and Stephanie received an official introduction but they have no content outside of that as of yet.
Reviewing the earlier roadmap I posted a month or two ago, I will say this:
- A better container system is in the works and can be seen in the latest build
- Tina's planned events have been finished though Nemara's content may be pushed back to 0.06
- Work on Joanne and Rec Room content has begun
- Work on Gwen and Roxanne has begun
- Stephanie is confirmed for 0.05
The main storyline work has continued and is progressing
So, I'd say we're well on track for some of the previous goals I set. As for 0.06? I honestly have to give that some thought. I'm gonna refrain from posting any serious roadmap for 0.06 at the moment. As we get closer to public 0.05, I will have more to say about that.
Also, I am sorry about announcing debug streams and then not following through :x The past couple weeks have found my personal life very busy and full of plans. Weddings, bachelor parties, some good and bad things, but overall nothing to be worried about. I simply haven't had the time to give everything and everyone all my attention. I still want to do debug streams and maybe even a developer playthrough but I may wait til the last week of June to start doing that. July and August for me should be very slow for me so I expect to have a bit more free time to engage with you all!
Some of you may also have noticed that Garrisen is no longer on the dev team. I just wanted to quickly address any concerns here. Me and Garrisen have parted ways professionally. To be honest, he has had a lot on his plate as of late with numerous other projects he's involved in. For months I have been handling the majority of render workload and will continue to do so as I've grown quite comfortable with and fond of posing and rendering in daz3d and then doing the post-render edits in gimp. This does mean the enemy sprites are on hold until I can find someone else who I can commission to draw them. Other than that, I wish Garrisen good luck on his future projects and thank him for getting us to where we are now.
Alright. I think that's it for now. Hope you all are enjoying your summer!
