I personally love the “faded grandeur” look of most Chateau interiors we see online. I find the “100% restoration to original” quite museum-like. The bright gilded Grand Salon might feel a bit out of step with the lovely nostalgic look of the rest of the chateau. However, this is just my opinion. You have such exquisite taste. I know you will made the perfect decision!
