2024-06-17 18:20:09 +0000 UTCI’m not sure how it works in the UK, but American Catholic Churches you need a sponsor (usually a deacon) and they will be the liaison to dissolve your previous marriage with the church. The Vatican honors it and you may proceed with another mass wedding. It costs 100$ for the paperwork.
