Desire's Grove Reboot - SRPG Proof of Concept
Added 2021-04-09 02:58:25 +0000 UTCIt just dawned on me that a lot of my follower base loves SRPGs. I happen to love them, too. Why not make an X-Rated one?
So I gave myself one evening to make a proof of concept, which is available publicly below. A poll is available to all my Patreon backers to decide if you'd like me to pursue the idea.
How to Play :
Download the game here.
Extract the .rar folder to your computer.
Execute game.exe to play.
Have fun!
Controls :
You can play with the mouse or keyboard (or both if you find it more comfortable)
Left Click / Z : Accept
Right Click / X : Cancel
Mouse Scroll / A/S : Next/Previous Unit who has yet to move. Mouse Move / Arrow Keys
Contextual Inputs :
I will be referring to Left/Right Click for contextual inputs, but they all work with Z/X as well.
Left Click on Allied Unit to Select/Move units.
Right Click on Any Unit to Display Stats.
- Side Arrows in the Stats Page to show Combat Arts when available.
Left Click on an Empty Tile to Display Menu.
- You can Save every turn if you haven't moved yet.
Right Click on an Empty Tile to Display Enemy Threat Range.
Additional Notes:
If you press Escape, it will instantly close the game without any confirmation. This is a quirk from SRPG Studio. I'll find a way to disable this if I pursue this idea.
You can save at the start of every turn before taking an action. There is no limit to this, so feel free to use it as you see fit!
This is just a gameplay proof of concept. This demo has no adult content (except the image of a ballgag).
