Current Progress & Plans for September

Hello dear patrons!

Here's the latest screenshot which hints at my plans for September. This post's aim is to break down all the small changes and features who are currently being developed.

1- Active Skills

Active skills are under development and should be functional very soon. You can already purchase & improve them. All I have left to do is the trigger & save. With those skills, the player's active impact will be way greater.

2- Troops Tab

If you have a keen eye, you'll notice that the News Tab was renamed to Troops tab. Troops will be available to purchase and will attack the enemies and support your allies from the back line.

They cannot be targeted by enemies and will provide some well needed backup as well as giving another more active decision for the player.

Their impact will be than actual playable characters, but will impact just about every aspect of play (Damage, Healing, Delaying Attacks, etc.)

3- News Button

I figured reading news from a sidebar wouldn't be the best way. As such, clicking the envelope icon from the top right will open a modal window containing the latest game news as well as a means to retrieve gifts.

Gifts will include Daily Login bonuses as well as any external means of getting rewards (like through contests, patreon, etc.)

4- New Monsters!

The second batch of monsters just arrived, introducing the Critter & the Chubby Bee as enemies. These cute enemies won't pose much of a challenge, but still serve the evil priestess nonetheless. Don't let your guard down.

5- Bloodlust

Bloodlust is almost ready to add to the actual enemy line up. I've got a pretty cool idea for her unique boss attack as well as a small minigame to prevent/weaken it.

I'm trying to implement a way to make bosses more engaging than just a huge HP sponge.

6- Patreon-chan!

Alongside the development of troop units, I'll be implementing Patreon-chan who will help you defeat enemies if you're a Patreon supporter.
