It's a time of balance, giving thanks for the summer's harvest and acknowledging the coming of shorter, darker days. The celebration focuses on themes of gratitude, abundance, and preparing for the colder months ahead.
One of the most magical parts about the autumn season is all of the scents that come with it! Pumpkin spice, apple crisps, bonfires are all wonderful smells that come to mind. Creating a batch of potpourri is one of the best ways to harness the autumn feels!
Before creating your potpourri, explore the forest near you and gather anything that you would like to add in your mix. Acorns, pinecones, pine needles, or berries would be perfect! This would add a nice woodsy, fall touch to your potpourri.
