He struggles as hard as he can to alert his friend to his predicament, but his pleas are stifled by the tight gag in his mouth. He's so close to freedom if he can just get his friend's attention, but all he can do is struggle in frustration as he hears his buddy walk right on by none the wiser to the peril he is in.
