As much as he tried to fight the attacker, the effect of whatever that's on the rag was stronger. He wanted so hard to push back with his upper body and legs strength, but instead his legs started to give away. He was able to unholster the first thing his left hand could reach which was the taser, but before he could do anything with it, his hand just voluntarily dropped it.
He's not liking what he was experiencing, he felt so powerless. With his legs going limp, the only thing holding him upright was the attacker holding his body up while aggressively clamping the rag against his nose and mouth. But the attacked noticed that his body was going limp, so he slowly lowered him to the ground. With his vision slowly going completely black, with occasional moments of consciousness, he was able to only make muffled groans, and occasional kicks. But that's all he could do before he completely lost his consciousness.
