Gate Guard - 02

Scenario 1:

After he waited for the phone to go to the voicemail the second time, his mind started wandering all over. He's thinking of what he might have said to his girlfriend the last few weeks. His mind was so occupied that he completely ignored all of his training, and completely oblivious of his surrounding for a few minutes.

All of a sudden, he heard footsteps of someone running towards him on the gravel surface,  from the way that it was getting louder and louder, but before he could think about it, and react, that someone  wrapped both of his arms around his neck and putting him in a choke-hold.  His first instinct was of course to try to grab the arms and loosen them up, which was not what he's trained to do in this situation, since there's no chance of him to fight the arm lock, what he's trained to do is just to attack the attacker down below. But first instinct is to breathe, so he just dropped his cellphone, and fought the arms around his neck for a few seconds, before he remembered his training.

So he switched his thinking, and was about to think of an attack down below, but then the attacker clamped a soggy rag over his mouth and nose while at the same time tightening his arms around his neck. This new move completely threw him off course of what he was thinking about doing, so that he continued to fight the arms.

After gasping for air for a good 7 seconds of so, he's really fighting to breathe, so whenever he could he tried to get as much air as possible, but with the soggy rag completely blocking his air, all the air that he was able to inhale was being filtered through, creating this chemical smell that's kinda sweet but also strong. With more air he inhaled the weaker he got, his vision was going blurry, the sky was starting to spin. He kept on trying to think to fight, but his need for air made him inhale even more, and made him even weaker. After another 10 seconds of this continuous loop, he finally lost his consciousness. But before everything went completely dark, the attacker whispered in his ear.

"Good night, soldier!"
