They really have taken the fight away from the soldier, he really can't defend himself much. And with the soldier's mouth stuffed and tapped up, they also have succeeded in pacifying him. But they didn't stop there, the soldier could really still wiggle away, and move too much. So they really also hogtied his ass to really make him totally immobilized.
