Western Marine - 001
Added 2019-08-04 04:55:40 +0000 UTCA squad of Marines was sent on a classified recon mission to this massive compound where it was suspected to be a huge illegal activities from drug dealing to human trafficking.
The recon mission went smoothly for a few hours without any incident, until one of the sentry cowboys spotted them. This sent more cowboys into the area, and they completely surrounded the helpless Marine squad, and sent them into an hour long fire fight.
The illegal cowboys picked this location because of the remoteness, and they also interlace themselves into civilian housing and towns so that they can be hidden and protected from air strikes.
It's for sure working for them, the Marines were on their own, having to fight for survival, with hours from ground support, and air support not being an option to avoid any innocents being killed in the process.
The marines were prepared and well equipped, but eventually after approximately 45 minutes of firefight, they ran out of ammunition. With the cowboys realizing this and closing in, they decided to make a run for it, they agreed that splitting up will give them a better chance of distracting them on splitting their resources to wait until ground reinforcement could arrive.
Brayden decided to be the bait, and ran away from the small area of trees and rocks where they had been fighting from to give his squad mates more chance of escaping from the other side. Brayden tried to run as fast as he could to the next area of trees, but before even being close to the next hiding area, the cowboys on horses were closing in fast on him! He tried not to look back, and just tried to run as fast as his body could like his life depends on it. Well his life really was depending on how fast he could run. The sound of the galloping horses along with with the cowboys screaming and hollering for him to surrender, and talking among themselves strategically trying to outmaneuver him.
Just a few seconds later, he noticed a piece of lasso right in front of him, and also felt a little movement on his legs, wrapping his left leg. He's not giving up, he's still running for his life......
