Potential sponsors reach out all the time. Majority of them are not quality leads. Some are even scams or contain some sort of malware.
But when quality inquiries do come in, it’s important to always have a presentation deck ready to send over. My presentation deck contains the following:
- A channel introduction
- The demographic breakdown of the channel’s audience (This is slightly modified to highlight data that a potential sponsor might find attractive)
- Future projections on engagement and overall channel growth
- Examples of previous sponsorships
This information is templated and only needs an hour’s worth of modification whenever someone has an inquiry. Being proactive pays off in this industry.
