I'd rather you support me using a different means like a web browser instead of artificially raising the price on iOS users to compensate for Apple's cut. This new change rolls out on November so you will have until then to change out. I will keep reminding you every month just in case. This change says it will only affect new users but I wouldn't bet on that entirely. It's safer to just switch out entirely. I personally won't be charging iOS users extra and paying the fee myself. I just like being consistent.

Indeed, those who use a browser or android version of the Patreon app should be unaffected. Anyone who uses iOS after November could be subject to a price increase should the creators they support adjust prices to compensate. It's either the creator or supporter that will be paying the fee on iOS, so it will be better for both if they simply switch avenues for support.
