ARCHIVE UPLOAD - "We Are the Swarm" (Demo)
Added 2021-06-24 15:00:01 +0000 UTCThis week's Archive Upload is from the long ago time of 2015-2017. I wrote these melodies and riffs over the course of a few years and then never came back to them. Originally the opening melody was written as a joke and had lyrics to go with it that were about drinking Faygo and the song was called "Mist of the Moon." This all started because Dan bought our old drummer a Faygo and then told him it would turn him gay after he drank it and he seemed legitimately nervous about it. I guess the real joke to this song ended up being me never coming back to finish it 6 years after getting the initial idea. Maybe one day! I was DEEP into power metal when I was finally recording these ideas as you can hear from the harpsichord and the extreme amounts of Gamma Ray influence in the rhythm guitars.
