Archive Upload - First Compositions

I started releasing lofi hip hop in 2019, but I actually had years of experience writing music only with midi before that. In high school, my brother and I would mess around with FL Studio and try to make edm, and then in early 2014 I started consistently writing music in whatever genre these songs are. The songs for this upload are all some of the first things I did when I started writing in 2014. Stumbling around with these is how I started learning everything I know now that goes into my work with Factory Flora. At one point, accidentally laying my hands down on the keyboard weird showed me what m7 chords were and it was all over from there.
1. Kissing Shadows Remix - I started out just trying to see if I could rework Klaymore songs since then I wouldn't have to worry about writing and could just focus on messing with midi in Garageband. When I found this again on my hard drive the file was labeled "Licking Darkness"
2. Haunted Graveyard - I wanted to write something that sounded Castlevania inspired because I had just played the original game. Yes, 30 years late in 2014. I actually was writing this for a project in college and when I was done I realized I had completely misread the directions and had to rush through writing something else to hand in instead, so that was fun, but it did end up getting me onto this path.
3. Goodnight - This is where I started enjoying making relaxed music. My whole goal with it was for it to sound like the game over screen in a Kirby game
