Weekly Update - 9/8/20

Now that I've woken up from my 24-hour Labor Day nap, you guys can check out what I did this weekend. 5 months ago we had a cover of "Gobi's Valley" from Banjo Kazooie released onto streaming services, and we were given a whole two weeks notice for the release date to film and edit a video! Wow! How useless! So obviously I didn't have a video ready in time since during April I was much more focused on like, living through a pandemic rather than playing guitar. The final video will also have an improved mix from what's on Spotify and the new mix will be the one that is available for you guys to download on Patreon. My goal is to have this video out by the end of September.

As a side note, I also received minimal notice again on the next compilation album that I'm a part of, so I'm not allowed to say what it is yet but Factory Flora and Klaymore will have new covers on Spotify next week. Factory Flora's will be on YouTube on the release date but Klaymore's won't be immediately because again, it's hard to drop everything and immediately start working on something else, and I really wish they'd give us a month notice instead of two weeks but we'll roll with it. THAT cover should be on Klaymore's YouTube channel in October, so be sure to check notifications here for updates on it.

When someone outside of Klaymore films a video for me I list who it is in the video description. Like one we released last year my friend Colin helped us out with when we were filming in the woods. Lofi music with vocals are usually incomprehensible and covered in reverb so honestly Simglish could be perfect for it, but I doubt I'll ever have me singing anything in them

Who gets the video recording credit? Will the LoFi music on FF include vocals at some point? Just curious if it'll always remain instrumental (enjoying what I've heard so far). My daughter recently sent me a music video of a Sim singing in Singlish to the background music that plays while the game is being played, and it seemed like a cool idea.
