So last week's episode of Dan's Dumbass Life ended with me having a successful surgery and hospital stay, and then we didn't hear from me for about a week!
Healing
In that time I've been sleeping and healing and walking around my home, and thanks to the surgery I've been able to eat food without getting sick! Bonus! Feels awesome ^_^
ELF MILK
During the last week I also slowly worked on making this little drawing of Lusty wearing an original t-shirt design. I call it ELF MILK! #elfmilk. Would you wear this if it was a real t-shirt? :P Anyway, I think she looks cute in it.
Lusty and the Big Bad Werewolf
I've posted the cover over on Lustycomic.com, and a few people have left comments on the page saying they're excited for the new chapter!! So encouraging ^_^
Work is going slowly due to recovering from surgery, but I recently found a way I can still draw comfortably, so we'll take it easy and see how we go. Today I drew this opening panel for the first page. The left side of the panel will eventually be covered up with Lusty walking towards us in girlboss mode.
Fanart while I was off work
Some lovely people on social media made some Lusty fanart! I was letting everyone know that I would likely be off work for the week, and asked people to draw their own Lustys in the meantime. I was blown away by the response! Check them out in the gallery, and follow the artists you like <3
