Here's some progress shots.

Using Clip Studio Paint as usual, I'm sketching with the gouache brush and a downloaded pencil brush, and a new gouache eraser I made for some softer textured erasing (it's just the gouache brush, but tweaked to erase instead of put down paint). Feels a bit more natural and nice to sketch like this!

Painting colours with the gouache brush, mostly on one layer, sometimes using a hard round brush to add strong dabs of colour without mixing. I like mixing the colour a little with the background, to help marry the painting's colours together.

But I did add a few layers to make some adjustments, and to try out different ways of painting tears. Ended up with the tears you see here.

I really like how the tears look (they're not dissimilar to Lilya's tears at the end of last chapter) but Lusty's expression really killed me.
I feel so bad for her! And I wrote this! It's my fault as the author! Shit!
