WIP on the Christmas lewd!
Added 2017-12-23 14:00:21 +0000 UTCI'm trying out a different colouring technique than I usually use.
Left image: This is a crop of the full illustration, showing the base colours applied.
Right image: Same crop, with all the lighting layers turned on.
For lighting, I've added 4 layers (so far)
1, Warm light on an overlay layer
2, Warm highlight on a glow layer
3, Cool shadow on a multiply layer
4, Cool highlight on a normal layer.
The warm lightsource is the fireplace on the right, and the cool lightsource is some moonlight/starlight coming in through a window behind and above the viewpoint.
Hope that's interesting for any of you guys who are art nerds, and maybe even interesting for you guys who aren't art nerds!
