Changes on the Way!

I appreciate everyone who answered the survey about IF games. The info was very helpful. I've been able to use that to inform my decisions over the past few days. After talking to my SO about everything, I've settled on a path forward.

There's a lot of changes to make, and I'm going to have to make them slower than is ideal, but gradually, we will get where we need to.

The end goal is this: a full return to Interactive Fiction games, starting with Isle of Eros, supplemented by one ongoing story and one monthly commission slot.

To make that happen, I'll have to rework a lot of my life (and Writing) schedule over the coming months. Again, show changes.

For this Patreon, that means a few more changes, such as:

1. No more short stories for now. I've got one in the works at the moment, and another set to be posted in the coming weeks. These two will be my last for now.

2. A return to one commission slot after the end of He's Just Not That Into Yours, which has 2 chapters remaining. That one remaining slot will continue to be taken by Under Her Influence for at least a few more months until its end. At that time, I will open up to new commissions. A possible increase to commission prices will be considered at that time.

3. A change to ongoing story rotation to help Dear Dairy reach completion more quickly. It will still get several more chapters, and I'm not changing my planned arc of the story. I'm considering a weekly release schedule that looks something like A, B, A, C, A, B, A, C, etc., for the three stories. Dear Dairy was selected as it has the least amount of ground left to cover of the three.

4. An eventual (a month or two from now, at least) demo release of Isle of Eros's earliest segments. This will be exclusive to Supporters for a minimum of 6 weeks.

5. A return to weekly development roadmap posts.

6. An eventual repurposing of the existing $12/mo tier for those who wish to follow development more closely with more frequent, less polished version releases, and the option to make suggestions/requests for game content.

7. Due to the work that will need to go into the return to IF games, I will not be releasing Isle of Eros for free on Itch.io. The demo will eventually be shared there, but the game will remain exclusive to Supporters until it is finished, at which time I will make it available as a paid download, price TBD.

This is a lot to change, and it'll take some time to get things moved over (we're talking several months). Over time, though, expect to see more IF stuff happening here.

Also, very likely not doing anymore mini games. They're fun, but not a great use of my time, I feel.
