2024 Recap & 2025 Roadmap

Wow, it's been a crazy year!

One year ago, I was in the thick of writing and coding Enter the Expansion Mansion! I was still just getting through the various wishes you could make with Lustra. That feels like a lifetime ago.

A lot has happened since then. I finished Enter the Expansion Mansion. I began work on B.E.A.I. which ended up, sadly, not living up to what I had hoped for the project and was shelved. Then came Grow Your Own Nymph which was a wildly different kind of project that, again, I feel didn't live up to what I wanted it to be. Of course, there was also How the Breast Was Won, which got one demo-ish release to my patrons before my life changed majorly.

Total schedule upheaval hit me in August, courtesy of said life changes, and threw everything into chaos. My time to work at home on my game projects vanished in the blink of an eye.

Still, I think I've bounced back quite well, considering. With shelved and lackluster game projects in the rearview mirror, I came up with a new writing solution that allows me to work on more standard fiction fare within my current circumstances. Since that point, I've been going strong.

Here's some stats to back that up:

• 4 ongoing BE stories

• 17 total combined chapters for those stories

• 2 short stories

• 84,000+ words written in 4 months. That's a novel's worth of expansion! And it doesn't even include the 20,000ish words worth of commissions!

• 3 commissioned stories (including one double-length story)

• 1 novella (11,000+ words) just for my patrons as a Christmas Gift! (Today is the last day to download that one, btw.)

So, yeah, despite some rocky times in the middle of the year, I'm really proud of what I've done. That's over 100,000 words written since August! And my $3+ supporters have access to ALL of that writing! Right now.

And that brings us to the new year. The future. It will likely come as no surprise that one of my resolutions is to get better at writing and do even more of it! What does that mean for you guys, though? Well, I'm glad you asked. Here's a few bullet points for the next year:

• All four ongoing stories will continue into 2025!

• I'm tweaking my plans for Dolled Up and plan to finish that story up sooner rather than later. It'll still get several more chapters, but it's probably nearing the halfway mark as of its next chapter release. The story clearly isn't resonating with people like I hoped, so I'll make sure it gets a real conclusion and plenty more expansion fun and then put it to bed.

• After Dolled Up wraps, I will have some room cleared up in the release schedule. This will be given to more short stories. I plan to release a new stand-alone every 4 weeks, in rotation with the ongoing stories. These will be used for novel ideas or related TFs and Expansions that I don't feel deserve a full story of their own.

• More Commissions! I'm open right now for commissions, so if you want your very own expansion story, send me a message and let's make something happen!

• I'm going to start writing some shorts for Swell Tales contests. These will never take priority over what I write for my Patrons, but it'll give me a good way to challenge myself and keep things interesting. Those stories will, of course, be posted here for you guys, as well, free to all.
