It's a new week and a new project officially begins!
This week will consist mostly of me doing some serious planning for the game and some reading/research to ensure I'm getting the setting correct. While How the Breast Was Won will draw heavy inspiration from spaghetti westerns and pop culture, I want to keep it grounded. My personal knowledge of the old west is pretty surface level, so I need to dig in before I get started.
I also want to be upfront that I intend to include native American characters in this game, as they were very much present in history and in pop culture, but I plan to use tropes carefully and avoid perpetuating harmful stereotypes as much as possible.
Additionally, I'll be starting a new thing with this game, where I will post every Wednesday a small tidbit about what I'm working on. This week's post will be a tease of the setting.
After the research, I hope to begin work on the landing page and character creation screen later this week.
