Team Sonic Racing Minisode

Hi everyone!

Kotor here, typing this while BretonStripes cradles Boogle in bed. Boogle is sick, she's puked three or four times today already and is struggling to keep even water in her stomach.

The past month has been busy. First it was my birthday - we visited my parents and went to Legoland for the day. On the drive back home, Boogle started vomiting, which was fun.

Then I caught her germs and two days later, I started puking too. BretonStripes felt very nauseous too but managed to hold onto her lunch, which was important because she had a business trip that took her to London for half the week.

Then it was Boogle's birthday. We had a big pirates and princess-themed party that took a lot of organisation and planning, and it ultimately went very well, even if it was a bit stressful for the family!

One of the adorable little kiddies in attendance must've some germs, because bam! I got sick again, this time with a cold. Thankfully I had it a bit worse than Mummy and Baby, but they caught it a little too.

There was no time to rest up in bed, though, as we had a short family holiday planned: a friend of mine has a caravan near the seaside, so we went to stay there for two days, played lots of arcade games, and dug holes in the sand on the beach.

Then it was back home, as BretonStripes went off on another four day work trip to London (and also got to see Muse in concert, which she enjoyed, as they're her favourite).

BretonStripes returned home late in the evening, and the next day was her birthday. After doing so much the past few weeks she got he short end of the straw, as everyone was all birthdayed out. We ended up resting a bit, but mostly running errands like taking the car to the garage to get a funny noise checked.

Now, Boogle is vomiting again, so it feels like we've come full circle.

Why am I telling you all of this? Well, amid all this chaos, our video output has slowed down. I just wanted you to understand why, and to promise you that things will be picking up again once the vomiting stops.

I think, to be honest, I'm also facing a bit of YouTuber burnout. We had a really good month in April and I didn't want to let a winning streak end, so I kept pushing us to do more and more videos. These mostly performed well, so I was happy, but once our view count inevitably slumped back to normal numbers again, I've felt a bit empty.

We're wanting to do a video just for you guys, our supporters, after so many mainstream videos aimed at a wider audience. If you've got any suggestions for video topics, reply to this post and let us know, we'll pick one to do in the near future.
