Battlefront II Video Preview

True to our word about posting all content to backers at all levels, here's a picture from an upcoming video.
It depicts EA closing down Visceral Games. Kotor has written a very dumb video that he's slightly embarrassed about that tackles the recent Battlefront II controversy. While it's not as uplifting and inspirational as most of our stuff, it's been fun to essentially do a Star Wars parody that frames Star Wars fans as a rebel alliance, fighting against EA's greed by boycotting the game.
Yeah, it's dumb, but it feels relevant to the ongoing discussion in a way that we can't escape.
We just wanted to take the opportunity to say that, more than ever, your support recently has helped us to keep going.
(This is Kotor writing, by the way, just to make things clear.)
If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know that I've been fretting a lot about the numbers lately. Pretty much the moment we hit 10,000 subscribers, YouTube's algorithm stopped promoting our videos. We've dropped down to only getting around 2000 views a video, which puts us approximately in line with where we were a year ago, when we'd only just started making videos.
In the face of seeing everything that we've made basically tumble down, it's been a bit disheartening to say the least. I've actually considered packing up shop a few times over the past month, and ending the channel.
What's kept us going, though, has been your support. We don't want to disappoint you, or let you down. You're buoying us up during this period, and we realise that while our videos aren't going out to a massive audience, or likely ever will, we have you to count on. It means a lot to us, and it's the reason why we're able to keep doing this even in the face of seeing our videos languish and our progress all but completely stall.
Thank you. Your support means more than you know, and without you, there might not even still be a Video Game Story Time any more.
You keep us going, you support us in doing what we love. We can't possibly say enough how grateful we are for the help, advise, and quiet encouragement that you give us.
