Hey all!

We wanted to apologise for not being able to get a video out the past few weeks. We've just bought a house and we've spent every available second trying to renovate it, plus Breton Stripes has been doing more work than normal with her day job, plus Kotor has been swamped with his freelancing. It's been a perfect storm of craziness that hasn't let up at all over the past few weeks.

To make up for it, here's a little look at our next video, a storybook review of the SNES Classic Mini. Everyone seemed to like Kotor's account of his experience playing Sonic Mania, so we wanted to do something similar with the SNES, but we also made it pretty special. Because we've got a table at a local comic convention that we'll be attending tomorrow, we got a book printed with all the pictures from the SNES video, which we'll be selling at the con. Then, when this is all over, we'll be able to film each page of the book as Breton Stripes reads our review for an even more authentic storybook experience!

This should be ready some time next week, and we've got a normal Video Game Story Time about Starfox in the pipeline too (it was supposed to be ready for the launch of the SNES mini, but oh well!), plus we're considering doing a video on Super Mario Galaxy, although we're having a hard time finding solid anecdotes from that game's development, so we might hold off for now.

Anyway, that's just a brief update from us, hopefully you like the look of the book! It should make for an interesting video.

PS Kotor is being lazy and hasn't published the blooper video just yet. He insists it needs a little more audio editing so it doesn't melt people's ears, but that's probably just an excuse.
