RatingPosterDB Emby Plugin is Now Available in the Official Emby Plugins Catalog
Added 2024-10-20 15:50:56 +0000 UTCThe RatingPosterDB plugin has been approved and is now available to install directly from the official Emby Plugins catalog.
It can be found under the "General" category with the "RatingPosterDB" plugin name.
The reason why this is important is because Emby users have had various issues trying to sideload the Emby plugin on NAS devices, with the release to the Emby Plugins catalog it is now very easy to install RPDB in Emby regardless of the device where the Emby server is running.
With this release we also made a big update to the Emby plugin, which now supports most of RPDB's features. (including custom rating orders and badges for Tier 3 users)

2024-10-25 16:13:01 +0000 UTCif you sideloaded the plugin into Emby in the past, then you should remove the plugin you sideloaded (from the Emby plugins folder), then restart Emby and install the "RatingPosterDB" plugin from the Emby Plugins catalog in the app, you can find the plugin in the "General" category, after installing it you need to restart Emby again and go to the plugin settings to set it up
