What now?

So yeah. The game is shadow banned and with Itch's new content policy I am not optimistic that it will go back to what it was before even if Mastercard/Visa rescind their ridiculous terms of service. That being said, we should continue pestering Mastercard and Visa for this stupid meddling. Let them know no peace until the end of time.

So what now? With the game shadow banned, it still be very hard for the game to grow and bring in new people (or bring back the old!). I have no plans of changing the original vision of the game in all its 18+ content and glory, but I will be making a light version of the game that will be censored to comply with Itch.io new guidelines, stupid and vague as they are.

I know. I hate it too. But this may be a concession I will have to make until things are resolved, if they do.

So what will this Light version change?

No sex scenes at all
No content of self harm outside the death of the MC's mother
Minimal use of alcohol and drug use
Removal of any other content that may break the new content guidelines implied or otherwise.

Of course, this game was written with its mature themes in mind, so naturally, some things cannot be censored out completely if they are a core foundation of the game's story. Therefore, this light version of the game will have content up until a certain part of the game. It will be a proper demo i guess. I estimate that this version will only go up until Chapter 2-3 which will have around 200k-400k+ words of content.

The original uncut, uncensored version of the game will be always available publically until the end of development. if I ever get booted off Itch for good, I'll host the game on Neocities or smth or have download available on my patreon.

This whole mess has disrupted development of the game. I'm sorry. I'm just really angry and frustrated atm. Updates will be slower because of this recent development. I will try to have something out by next month, promise!
