There's a new folder on the Dropbox drive called "000 This Months Files". I'll be placing files in this folder throughout the month form now on then sending out a collected link at the end of the month to save spamming you all with lot's of files to download. At the end of the month once the links go out I'll also move the files into their respective folders on the main drive.
Currently you'll find some more cavern tiles and a new standee style door in the dungeon set. There's also the start of the city of Ghoulburg!
I've been spending some time working out some terrain to go with Warhammer Quest Cursed City but also make it useable with all the tile sets. I've made some walls that clip to the outside of a set of tiles with the standard clips/magnets as well as a slim clip version and a clip in the base version to sit onto of existing tiles.
The last image above is a bit of a mock up of pieces to give you some Idea of how things are going to look. I like to bash pieces together from existing kits and using primitive shapes to start to give me an idea of how things will go together and tend to spend a few days going through iterations like this before I settle on something that works and has the look I'm after. A little behind the curtain peek rather than the normal polished renders :)
If you want to build a Cursed City set to work with the tiles in the box I'd suggest printing the "Top" versions as these will line up nicely on the outside of the card tiles. If you're wanting to 3D print all the tiles that are coming I'd recommend printing the standard "Side" walls and pair them with the standard height rooms to come. I'll be doing slim versions of the floors too but these won't be able to have as much depth as is planned with the standard tiles and the clips might be a bit more fiddly to build layouts on the fly if using them with Cursed City.
The idea with the way the tiles will work with Cursed City is to not build completely walled in rooms for every tile but clip in random decorative pieces as you play and layout out the tiles then to have pieces of removeable scatter that you can place on the tile or around the table.
Now I have the modelling tools built and finalised how it's all going to work together I'll be building some more lengths and damaged versions of the exterior walls starting tomorrow with interior walls and tiles to come :)
