[Assets] NPR and Goo Engine Assets - Fantasy Academy - June 2025

It’s month 7 of our Year of Assets! Last month, we introduced the River Reflection Magic from our NPR Open Movie project. Today, we are excited to share another asset that uses the NPR Prototype - The Staircase! It’s bundled in with another asset from our recent short for Honkai: Star Rail Multiverse Vistas - the School Hallway Set!

School Hallway Set

This beautiful asset pack, made with Goo Engine, will take your next project right to the halls of Charmony Academy – or any academic setting you’d like! The School Hallway Set features dozens of easily customizable set dressing pieces; including paintings, signage, light fixtures, and more. The foliage in this set is designed to be low-poly for optimal performance.

Infinite Array Compatible

This hallway is loopable and thus can be extended into infinity. Combine it with the god ray planes that come with it, and you can add beautiful volumetric lighting! 

God rays everywhere!

Curvature Node

We’ve utilized Goo Engine’s custom curvature nodes to apply our signature anime look and feel to the objects in this pack. They are used extensively in the environments to highlight and stylize edges.

This file is meant to be used in Blender 4.1 with Goo Engine. 

NPR Staircase

The Staircase is our latest file using the NPR Prototype! It’s a great place to see how we’re using Blender’s NPR Prototype nodes. Here, we’ve deployed it for line art, curvature, and shadow manipulation. 

The curvature in the NPR prototype has been upgraded from Goo Engine’s version. This makes applying curvature to organic shapes, like the curved beams of the staircase, much more possible. Give it a try today!
