After previously diving into the power forward position, Tony East and I are back with another player preview pod. For this episode, we look at what's ahead for Bennedict Mathurin, Buddy Hield, and Ben Sheppard, with the following format guiding our conversation:
- projected role
- one big question
- best and worst case scenarios
Generally speaking, Mathurin, Hield, and Sheppard can all be referred to as off-ball guards or second-side guards in the sense that they aren't primary initiators. That said, how much (or how little) they have the ball in their hands will still say a lot about each of their respective seasons for different reasons. We get into all of that during our discussion.
