Three new songs + Vocals!

Hello friends, I wanted to share 3 new songs with you and some progress on projects:

 Cool_Breeze_31e.cwp.mp3  - a duet with Julie and Ashley. You will notice the two AKG microphones that I use have a huge boost at 8-12k. I call this the 10k boost and I often compensate for it by notching out that frequency a bit on the vocals. this time, I did something different for Cool_Breeze_31e.cwp.mp3 and I left it in there. So there is a huge wash of high frequency tones. If you're older than 40, you might not notice them.

I am 38 and I sure do notice them!! But then again, I always wore earplugs at rock concerts. I notice that they sound piercing and bright on headphones, sometimes a little bit too much. But on car stereo they sound hissy and noisy. I can always attenuate those frequencies, as this is a work in progress (sorry i forgot to mention, Cool_Breeze_31e.cwp.mp3 isn't finished yet and the song ends about 6 minutes into the mp3) Let me know what you think!!!

Waterbowl_Maker_56_ALT_ATTACK_withoutBells.cwp_crop_level.mp3 -- this is my absolute favorite track of the 3 and features a huge build up and synth lead/solo. PLEASE CHECK IT OUT. lemme know what you think

Lullaby_The_Water_47.cwp.mp3 - this is a long drone/harp arpeggio piece, designed for helping you sleep. It lasts a long time, maybe 20 minutes or so and gets quieter throughout. Hopefully you are sleeping when it ends!!

my app

I am working on the iOS app every day for a month. Big progress. You guys will be the first to get your hands on a beta, if you have an iPhone or iPad. There is some exciting features, such as layered sounds, nature sounds, custom playlists based on singer and key and mood. Also there are lots of versions of the songs, so you can pick your favorite. Some of them are just variants of the same song, for example I could take  Cool_Breeze_31e.cwp.mp3 song and make a version with and without the 10k notch on the vocal track. that way you can choose your favorite based on the preference of your personal ears and how they respond to frequency. this is my "one size doesn't fit all" approach to music and how I want to cater it to your preferences.

the collection

I started tagging each mp3 with a corresponding 32-bit wave file and uploading them. So in the future you will be able to download your favorite format on the fly, mp3, flac, ogg, etc...this will be nice because small mp3s are nice for portable players, whereas you might want flac for your hi-fi system. I will give you the choice!!
