Indiana Pacers Season Review: The Front Office

Alright, so, it probably isn't accurate to say that we talked into microphones about the basketball played by the Indiana Pacers for this particular episode, as Tony East and I instead turned our attention to the front office and, more specifically, Kevin Pritchard as the figurehead of that front office. Still, as Tony astutely pointed out, front offices have a tendency to be judged, whether right or wrong, not by the process of decisions but rather by the on-court results of those decisions.
For the most part, there's a lot of unknowns surrounding team-building. After all, assessing what trades aren't made is tricky business without knowing what trades were actually available, right? That said, from looking back at the team's asset management to weighing the virtue of patience against the strategy of attempting to walk in parallel while maintaining optionality, there still plenty to be discussed.
