Traditional: Pocket watches and Pendulums. The things you associate with stage shows that leave their participants in a swirly eyed trance. They are favorites for a reason after all.
Brain Scrambling Tech/Machine: Spiral screens, helmets that scramble brainwaves, or any other devious, mind scrambling, device or set up. One thing is for sure: This process is going to stick with the girl.
Magic: Mystic spells or perhaps even possession. With magic, there are little limits to how a mind or body and be manipulated and transformed.
Accessory: Maybe a form of tech or magic, but with one important distinction. When the accessory is removed, the control is likely to fade away, even if not immediate.

2025-03-19 21:25:56 +0000 UTCi would vote gasmask/anaesthesia mask. flood the mask with gas to keep them docile, take the mask off when its time for some fun. mask back on and gas flowing to put them back under a spell. rinse and repeat as often as needed to rehabilitate or break the villain...
