🍿 This Week's Watchlist:

Hey everyone!

How has everyone's October been so far? I went apple picking over the weekend on the one chilly day and it was peak fall vibes. We brought home a whole 10lbs of Ludacrisp apples, which I've never heard of before but they're super sweet! Does anyone have any apple recipes because I'm not sure if I can use all of these in time 🤣

Alright, here's what we're getting into this week (spoiler: it's staaacked!):

✨ Andor | Season 2 Episodes 7-9
We are absolutely flying through this series. I'm actually feeling a bit panicked because I don't want it to end. Not yet. I've seriously loved this show and its tone so much. The writing, the tension, the performances. I walk away with so much inspiration and love for this show every time I sit down to watch these arcs.

💫 Eternals
Ah yes, the Marvel movie everyone said is totally "skippable". Of course, I'm still going into this with an open mind though! I was originally going to watch it on my own, but then I thought 'If I watch it anyways, why not share it even just with Patreon?' so here we are! No harm no foul if it's not your favorite of the MCU lineup but I'm excited to personally see how it lands.

💥 The Terminator
This one is a personal 'Halloween' vibe pick! Ever since The Matrix, people have been telling me I need to watch this. And then after watching Alien, it climbed to the very top of my sci-fi recommendations list! So here we are, finally jumping in and I can't wait to see why it's so highly recommended. I love that it's been a bit more of a sci-fi spooky season for us this year 🤣👽

🍿 John Wick
Another highly recommended request, but from the action genre list! I'm most excited for this one because I looooved Keanu Reeves in The Matrix films and I can't wait to see him in another role!

There'll be a poll dropping later this week for our final spooky season pick! This final genre is a bit mixed up with action/romance/thriller/horror combo. We'll dive into that movie next week! Thank you all so much for such an awesome October so far with all of your recommendations and picks!

🌿 Middle-Leaf Book Club
We're back to starting up Discussions this Wednesday for the next chunk of chapters! If anyone is having trouble getting through the chapters, I highly recommend the Andy Serkis audiobook. It's absolutely incredible! I rented mind through my Library app for free, and it makes it so much more immersive (and faster lol). I can't wait to grab a cup of hot chocolate for our next discussion because these last chapters were so good.
