scam ):

PianoBear

Yeah. I paid for this thing as well and its complete dog shit. needs to be completely overhauled.

Rippz

Hey man, I'd love some help here if you have any advice. I've followed all the instructions. Read all the mod descriptions, installed everything that was required. However I still had a ton of conflicting files. I attempted to correct this and managed to get the game to load however I ran into a few issues, such as all the trees having being extremely low poly and having no collision. I attempted to correct this issue and used loot to try and sort out my loaf order to no avail. Everytime I attempt to deploy the mods I am met with "deployment us not possible when you have cyclical mod rules. Rules contain cycles." I am completely out of my depth here and am a total novice when it comes to modding. I'd appreciate any advice you can offer. I understand if it's too much a burden though.

Kinsal

Worked perfectly fine for me, a few hiccups here and there, but cause of user error on my part. Make you you do everything step by step

Timothy Stephens

Even now if you follow this Guide, installing the latest versions and what not, it all still works!

Unrepenting X

Terrible .. updated it man

Michael Iorio

Lol

Dylan Rhoads

Yes it's only 7 dollars but I still feel like I've been scammed

Brandon Yeti

Hey I just installed the LO as well and after many hours I wound up with the same problem. Did you find a solution?

Brandon Yeti

I got a pitch black screen after. Can anyone help me with the LUX installation? Where I guess the problem is. Guide doesn't tell much and FOMOD is not matched.

Some Chinaman

Great guide but what do you recomend for AA ? TAA or can I use DLAA mod ?

Darth-Ren789

Beautiful Thanks <3 ;)

None Of Ur Business

Firstly, general advice for anyone following this guide: * Take your time to read and understand the intro, look down the mod list and familiarise yourself with each step. * It's going to take a long time to do this properly, so set aside at least a couple of hours and don't rush. * It's not JUST the mods in this list, many have requirements/dependencies, and they in turn may have their own dependencies. Go methodically, read the mod description and installation notes to ensure you get everything. * If using Vortex, don't just assume that clicking the Vortex download link top-right will download the correct file, read the instructions carefully, go to the files tab and ensure you are downloading the correct mod version. I followed the guide over the one session (I recommend using Vortex as that has LOOT built in and IMO just holds your hand better than MO2) and with the exception of a couple of issues that were ultimately user error, everything has worked perfectly and Skyrim SE looks incredible. I have continued to mod it with a TON of additional graphical and gameplay mods and am having a great experience. ### Heavy Burns, thank you for putting the hard graft in to produce a nice and clear (for the most part) guide. If I might make a few suggestions: 1). Add a note/disclaimer at the top that clearly states that this guide is up-to-date at the time of writing, but that due to the nature of both continued game and mod updates, over time some mods may become incompatible, or unavailable... or words to that effect. Also add that note to the pinned comment on YouTube so that people are aware before they pay for access on Patreon. 2). Make it super clear in the introduction that many of the mods you list have their own requirements/dependencies, and they in turn may have their own dependencies. This caught me out, particularly for Cabbage ENB where I followed your guide to the letter, but when I came to play, everything was so very dark. Crucially I missed Silent Horizons 2 - Universal Core as one of the requirements. As I said, the issue was user error - it's been over 10 years since I played or modded OG Skyrim - and resulted in me going back over all mods in your list to make sure I hadn't missed any other dependencies. 3). If you fancy making any edits, then on top of the above, you could: * Add in the link to Lux as that was missing, leaving me with the unbelievable hardship of having to enter the term Lux into the Nexus search... perhaps I should demand at least a $1 partial refund just for that. ;-) * Daedric Shrines - there is an all-in-one mod that contains all of these and saves a bunch of time. Otherwise, fantastic work. ### Finally, those of you who are moaning about the guide being a little out of date, there's no one thing missing or not working that would prevent you from completing this guide, so just chill out; it's only $7, and when I think of how long it would take me to browse the Nexus, pull together, test and debug something like this, I think that's a fair price to pay to not have to do that. You aren't having to pay $7/mo in perpetuity, or to have an up-to-the-minute guide written just for you, it's just a one-off, so have some respect for the time and effort that would have gone into this and stop being so entitled.

Martin Dutton

Outdated , if you're hiding something behind a paywall at least update it so people don't waste their time & money for nothing

Blandie

I appreciate the effort, but considering this guide is in essence behind a paywall, I expected much better. The guide is out of date and won't work the way you've laid it out since quite a few of the mods are incompatible. For example the cathedral mods with ENB loaded. The Vortex collection (I know you didn't put that together) also won't work with the latest Steam version of the game, which a majority of people use for these older pc games. I'll be cancelling my subscription and disputing the charge, since it's obvious you're not actually providing what you promise in the membership pages. For anyone else reading this, ADHDecent on YT has an excellent step by step video series that will guide you through everything you need to know to get a visually stunning and advanced gameplay experience and IT ALL WORKS.

Madeline Palenzuela

Have the same issue. Not sure why but SKYUI just doesn't seem to work ?

Jonny Kosschuk

Hey, I installed these mods and for some reason other mods I have aren't working. The two ones that aren't working so far are SKYUI and Ordinator. They show up in the creations folder, but they aren't working.

Alec Urban

LOOT is still on GitHub: https://github.com/loot/loot/releases/tag/0.22.3 I agree though. For most of us reinstalling Skyrim and following the guide to the letter, it's a CTD nightmare so far in Helgen.

Dan Ries

LOOT is still available and up-to-date via GitHub: https://github.com/loot/loot/releases/tag/0.22.3

Dan Ries

Hey, a couple of pages on the Lux FOMOD is missing. It is asking about the Vanilla and SMIM meshes and it has (parallax next to it) I wasn't sure what to do so I left it without parallax.

Kole

Oi! When going to download LOOT from nexusmods, it says the author has decided to hide the mod until they have finished updating it. We're done mate, we're done! What do we do?

Blerd Static

can you update this guide because it no longer works

Raul Olavarrieta

Awesome list homie looks great thanks!

Deadorbitgaming

Double check you have the right version of The unofficial patch mod installed.

Deadorbitgaming

Thanks that helped, however, there are still a few forts that are missing texture (grey) also the "light" is often very white making it difficult to see farther than a few meters. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

eulica eulescu

Hmmm just subcribed to your patreon for this guide. Already on the first page it seems very out of date. The LOOT is no longer available. Feeling a bit ripped of with this out of date guide :(

WarStorm

Burns! Question! Do you know if the Cabbage ENB has night eye fix or is compatible with night eye, or a mod like Predator Vision? The pages documentation has nothing about night eye on it.

Fluffer's friend, Jason!

I’m currently having this same problem, apparently it’s to do with SkyUI being almost 7 years old with no recent updates. I had to just uninstall it in the end.

Kian Wall

Don’t install the most recent file on Majestic mountains, instead go right down to the bottom and install the Majestic Mountains Main File version 1.84 under “old files”

Kian Wall

Hi there, thank you for the guide it's been really helpful, however I ran into a bit of trouble with the mountains textures, look gray and blurry.

eulica eulescu

What's DynDolod? Is this why my 202x wasn't working? Now I did something and it's all messed up. Don't even know where to start again at this point.

Alex M

CrimsonSkys

it seems as if my Skyrim 202x isn't working but i have everything installed correctly

Alex M

I don't get how to make my environment like yours. I installed all the ENB stuff as in the guide but it still looks dark and not crisp at all. I even tried to download other pre-set ENBs like Ruby and they all still look bad. And I know the ENB works cause I have to menu option to change all settings. I have DDR5 with a 4090.

Alex M

Anyone know why the game crashes when I just to access the start menu (i.e. press ESC or J in game)

Ollie24

Yeah modpacks can be great for some people but i always prefer to handle things myself. For me its a lot easier to find a problem if i can install mods 1 by 1 and see where it goes wrong XD

Heavy Burns

Tried Nolvus but that was too much (added too many animation, quest & physics mods). It kept crashing my game, so I am trying to go back to basics & not add any animation, hud, etc mods and only add just graphics, enb & weather mods.

Rob

Waiting on the supposed next Skyrim patch, but I'm definitely going to follow this.
