• finalized 'drudge6' (jinn's profile)
• finalized 'drudge5' (yraal's profile)
• finalized 'drudge4' (gawann's profile)
• wrote (one line) for 'djen' re: survey target
• this is definitely not a rip-off of gears of war ({kantus} -> Ksi-un, {boomer} -> Magnataar, {COGs} -> BOLTs)
• wrote 'human out of time'
• wrote the last remaining branch in 'khru brulvundojn meet'
• coded the splice in 'jinn survey sure'
• wrote human-dick splices for 'rook munitions both'
• wrote/coded up the different intro branches for 'www impreg', most notably a chunk of variations to present a shorter somewhat-alternate scene if you go into the impreg scene directly from getting fucked by dante in the first place
• coded in stub sequence for 'recon village intro'
• wrote & structured code for 'recon exile sex' (making sure the delayed sex scene has its exile blocking right + at least one sex scene is always available)
• removed code comment re: repeatable sex scenes in 'survey index main'
• wrote intro for 'yraal options'
• fixed some (but not all) unfinished shims and formatting issues in existing passages

also some bugfixes that i hotfixed but didn't re-announce:

• fixed the savegame corruption thing! erasing a game didn't fully erase the current game data, so directly starting a new game would put you in a corrupted state
• made 2ic exile actually reasonably reachable (due to an over-constrained ifcheck)
• made the 2ic exile talk page not a huge vardump
• fixed a variable set in the siege resolution scene that gets used in various exile scenes
• fixed a script glitch in the drudge chain camp scene
• fixed a bad condition in brulvundojn's den; the 'first time' scene is now actually accessible (if you're starting without a dog dick)

at this point it's easier to list the stuff that isn't done yet:

there are eight sex scenes left unfinished:

• khru brulvundojn sex (the khru/brulvundojn threesome if you visit him during khru's survey)
• birth fist (carry a clutch of trophic eggs)
• zhalk angry jinn fuck (one of the three zhalk/jinn threesome branches, based on how you run the jinn survey -- this is "fuck jinn while you're already pregnant with eggs")
• zhalk angry double impreg (one of the three zhalk/jinn threesome branches, based on how you run the jinn survey -- this is "visit astau with jinn before heading to the survey site")
• recon cocksuck bottom actual (have sex with raven a few times and also have a human dick)
• yraal fisting bottom (from the camp scene with yraal)
• yraal options (from the camp scene with yraal)
• rook blow (this is written, but due to some restructuring it needs a human-dick branch)

there are seven non-sex scenes left unfinished:

• www pair (dante and malsatante; needs an 'end of sidequest' acknowledgement splice, basically)
• recon village intro (if raven returns to town after the seige section)
• brulvundojn apology (this has a bunch of different splices based on your tf status and it needs one more to handle later tfs gotten after the initial character creation)
• village options humans (needs a branch for if you arrive back in town when the humans arrive, without a partner)
• leader make smalltalk (this is just a seige conversational option that doesn't really do or say anything)
• survey endgame intro (part one of the ending)
• survey endgame (part two of the ending)

there are also more than a few bugs to fix, a fair bit of testing to do, and a bunch of minor formatting and tf shims to write.

some of those scenes are going to be more work than others ("the ending" is still, you know, a decent chunk of writing) but unless disaster strikes this should be finished and released on january 1st, 2020. happy new year indeed. i'll have another post then, but right now i'd just like to say wow thank you everybody who's stuck through for this entire dev cycle. it's kind of been a mess but i'm super happy to finally be finishing this up. also 267k words, wow, that's a lot of words.
