March 2025 Patreon Update & Discord Invite

Hey everyone,

First off, I just want to say a truly heartfelt THANK YOU. So many of you have joined after my Emilia Pérez video, and it means the absolute world to me and my fiancée. With everything going on in our lives, your support—whether financial, emotional, or just through engaging with my work—has made such a huge difference. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate you being here. It really, really helps, and I don’t take it for granted. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

So, let’s get into what’s coming up!

Long Away - A Trans Sci-Fi Short Film

The first big non-YouTube announcement happened last month: I’m working on Long Away, a trans sci-fi short film, as an assistant director, producer, and post-production collaborator! This film is being produced by Dr. Erin Macdonald and Susan & Tilly Bridges, and if you missed my original post about it, you can check it out here: https://seedandspark.com/fund/long-away

We’re still crowdfunding and aiming to hit our goal by the end of the month—we’re currently at 62% funded. If you’re able to support, it would mean so much! None of us (Erin, Susan, Tilly, or myself) are taking a dime from this. Every dollar raised is going straight to our cast/crew, which we’re striving to make as LGBTQ-inclusive as possible, or the film itself. That said, we really want non-LGBTQ people to support this as we know trans folks need the money (believe me, I wish I had the ability to support the film myself tbh) Plus, we’ve got an incredible cast announcement coming soon that I can’t wait to share!

Two HUGE Announcements Coming Later This Year

I’ve still got TWO even bigger non-YouTube projects in the works that I can’t announce yet, but let me just say... these are major. Like, life-changingly huge. I’ve been working on both behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to share them when the time is right. These projects are big enough that after this month, I’ll be taking a little longer between main YouTube videos so I can focus on the big projects properly and make them the best they can be. Trust me, it’s going to be worth it. 😉 And I hope I'll be able to announce them soon!

That said, YouTube is still very much alive and active! Here’s what’s coming this month:

• You already got one video today: The Stories White Supremacy Tells.

• This Friday, you’ll get its follow-up (if all goes well with editing)!

• Later this month: A Patreon-exclusive video about Babylon 5 that will tie into these themes.

Beyond that, there’s a LOT in the works:

• The massive Star Trek Ferengi video is coming, thanks to Aranock! Hoping for a May-ish release.

• The Androids in Sci-Fi video—Aranock is currently polishing the script on that one.

• A few trans-related videos are in development. Given everything happening in the world, I’m making sure to focus not just on the horrors of fascism, but also on the incredible ways people are resisting, building, and shaping the future.

• Also, Erin (my fiancee) and I are hoping to trying and do some more live stream regularly later this month - I wanna show her more on camera because I want you to see why I love her so much <3 and I think we'll have fun. And it';ll be a good way to be on camera more.

FRAK THIS PODCAST Started

Also, in case y'all missed it; the FRAK THIS PODCAST has officially started. Vera and I have already released our first two episodes about the Battlestar Galactica miniseries, and we're jumping into the show starting next week.
