I loved this review. I deeply disliked the 1st season of Disco & disliked season 2 so much I gave up on watching the show. You’ve correctly articulated most of my problems with the pilot as well as quite rightly pointing out very real GOOD things about it as well. While ultimately I cannot follow you in liking Disco I do think that it is worthwhile for me to understand why the show has spoken to some people and to appreciate that (deeply) flawed art can still have merit we can analyze and appreciate. Also, you rightly note how if not for Disco and we probably don’t get SNW & Lower Decks both of which I deeply love so Disco will always have my appreciation for that.

2024-01-15 23:50:40 +0000 UTCI can't remember how far I got-unfortunately I've had to cancel my streaming services-but I know a lot of comments called bs on the telepathy with Burnham and Sarek. I grew up with TNG(near & dear) but like with every new Superman actor, I give things a chance 'cus each new version brings something I appreciate(and Michelle Yeoh can do no wrong). Wonderful video! 🥰 P.S. I was equally impressed by Green's transition from The Walking Dead to Vulcan.
