I'll have more news to come but... omg it went so well <3 Anyways, here's last week's We are all Pawns episode. I'll post this weeks tomorrow. The new #2 crosses a line and #6 sets out on a mission of unclear purpose with unclear collaborators, as #2 pushes to uncover the conspiracy. Totally straightforward.

I think you both missed some very important allegorical meaning in this episode. "Hammer into Anvil" is a very overt reference to Hitler's speeches, and that whole N@zi philosophy of predator versus prey. In fact, this Number 2 is arguably the only time the series demonstrated that flavor of fascism: sadism, brutality, and force...which can only be undone from within by its inherent fear and paranoia. Most of the series is firmly rooted in cold war era psychedelic paranoia. But since fascism is such a large overarching theme in the show, it's cool they did one episode exploring that horrific part of human history. And it's even better because they did it without resorting to the overt imagery that less sophisticated shows would. I'm so thrilled you're going through this show! It's seriously underrated, and arguably one of the most intelligently written shows of all time.
