The pipeline explained in your interview sounds a lot like what my Wife's parent's just got done trying to lecture me about. I knew them for 13 years before coming out this year. They refused to talk to me for 2 months and now i know they spent those 2 months feeding themselves on anti trans rhetoric. They fell for this stuff hook line and sinker. I worry they may try whatever they can to separate my wife and I since they "only gave permission for a man to marry their daughter" as if she had and still has no will of her own to love me as her husband no mater what I look like. What do we say to those who have been caught by this pipeline you described? It seamed no mater what I said to them yesterday they just demonized all of it. Will your full video go into possible tactics or questions to ask parents to help them see the harm they are doing?

2023-09-28 16:30:36 +0000 UTCI remember when I started crossdressing (I was about 11 or 12) back in the early 80's, my mom found the items I had squirreled away, rather than trying to try to understand me, support me or do anything positive, my mother decided to shame me back into "the closet" (this was well before I even knew what trans/queer or anything related to LGBTQ+ was about). This became a cruel cycle as I went through my teen years. Basically, it became a line of "My house, my rules." and I couldn't explore that side of me that I discovered. Eventually, I became more-or-less repressed as I helped my mom over the years. About a year before she passed (around 2017/2018) I had a sit down with her and she expressed that she was trying to enforce her own expectations of a son on me. Now that she's gone, I want to transition, but I'm still suppressing in MANY ways. Hopefully nobody else will have to go through what I did. Loved the Video. Thanks to you and Caelan!!!
