Star Wars The Mandalorian "Chapter 21 The Pirate" REVIEW

Comments

This was my favorite episode of the season, it felt the most cohesive and well tied together, and I enjoyed the developments it made to the Mandalorians getting a home and deciding on unity. But again in the context of the larger plot, there needed to be more in depth exploration of Bo Katan’s past to make this responsibility for her feel earned, and Din needed to not have all his arcs and explorations tied up or sidelined so soon as the writers have made him shallow and ignored a lot of conflict and thoughts that could’ve been happening this whole time. Bo’s arc and growth should be paralleling his, an active conversation about cultures and moving forward, etc. And I can’t help but look at this season overall and be disappointed at how flat and rushed and unbalanced the potential they set up was handled. But overall I really did love this episode and I wish the rest of the season had had the right plot and focus this did/that the overall arc was revealed sooner.

Yes that was zeb, from the ghost. Looks like most of the crew are still around. Hopefully they may get back together again. Possibly for the Ahsoka show seeing that she was a very big part of rebels.
