Totally agree! I prefer ROP because it's about hope, whereas HOD is about treachery. In a way, HOD and GOT are revenge porn, they build up conflicts in such a way as to make you hate, then crave to see revenge, the only relief. You know, basic brain manipulation. Shows like LOTR, Star Trek and even Star Wars deliver storylines that ask us to find our best selves, which I prefer tbh.

It's just characters I hate and don't care about whining about being in power. Oh boo hoo lol. And the average people of the city are portrayed as ugly stinky pathetic stupid peasants who are cux to power. What is this? Most of modern day England??? lololol. There's no sub plot or side story or anything about some under ground rebels trying to be a thorn in the side of the dragon riding elitist dikheds who run everything. Talk about boring... Where's our Grey fox? Our thieves guild types? That would make the show much more interesting. A character that fit that mold slightly was the crab feeder but no, kill him off screen... I guess they are afraid to do this again considering that they wrote bravos so badly in game of thrones? lololol. Speaking of which... Let's kill the crab feeder. A person with a disability... Let's punch a gay person to death... Let's set a black lady on fire... Let's slice and black dudes head in half... Let's have the peasants get royally stomped by a dragon for no good reason... Seems like the show is all about making the less powerful folks of society look like pathetic scum that should be destroyed. What the phuck mann??? Start killin some str8 white powerful dudes already to balance it out lol. Better kill me some white boys by the end of the season or else I'm gunna be extra let down. Game of thrones the show did similar annoying crap too... It's a problem in entertainment. The HUWHITE people, particularly str8 white males, tend to get the best treatment by a long shot. Do we really need to pull this card EVERY TIME? Let's not see what white walkers are up to. Let's not see what the other continent is up to. Let's not explore the weird dinosaur lands to the far south. Let's not dive into old valeria. Let's not see what's up in the deep seas. The books hint at super interesting stuff in these areas and this show refuses to dive into it AT ALL. Let's just be boring af lol. Sorry but phuck this show. I know Lotr aint perfect either but I'd say it's far better than this show. It actually is diving into areas of interest like who morgoth was and the numanorian folks or however you say their name. Looks better. Acting is better. Writing is better. Sorry but hot d? More like soft d lololol. Lord of the rings wins haha. Better luck next season I guess...
