Star Wars: Andor "Aldhani" EPISODE 4 Review

Comments

This episode was probably my favorite so far because I felt it really showcased day-to-day anxieties of living under fascism. In a lesser sense, we had Meero who was told she could easily "fall off the ladder", seemingly because she was from enforcement (or is it because she's a woman?) and then later to a greater extent we saw Mon talking about being watched all the time, and her fears when her husband casually invites her political enemies over for supper. We see at the end this episode was directed by a woman, and I felt it really at multiple points captured profoundly how uncomfortable the day to day of being any sort of "other" -- activist, outsider, woman, you name it-- in a patriarchal society can be.

Right? Coruscant looked exactly how I imagined it would under the Empire

Loving the show so far! Can't wait to see the mission. I also liked the juxtaposition of the clean, white, sterile, wealthy environment of Coruscant against the gritty and natural/organic scenery of Aldhani.
