This is kind cumulative over the last few episodes, but I'm a little surprised that Down Below as a concept is catching so hard on Vera's suspension of disbelief. Even on early viewing, there's not a lot about B5 that says that there's much of a social safety net, even on an Earth run station. Why shouldn't, say, a Zocolo vendor that loses their stall not fall through the cracks? (Though the criticism of the costuming and such is on point, I think, given how short a time the station has been in operation.)

I think the next Season 1 episode I actually enjoyed watching was "By Any Means Necessary", which is still a few weeks away for you.
