I haven't seen this movie and don't have plans to see it in the near future. I am a fan of the original movie and didn't completely hate the sequels though :) I started watching this thinking I might not watch it all the way to the end but as I should have expected, everything you talked about was so interesting and your presence is so engaging that I didn't want to turn it off! Great job, I hope YouTube appreciates it appropriately. (I watched it on Nebula but can't comment there!) Side note, I think it's so wholesome how so many of the creators that I enjoy and support also support each other, I love that I recognized names in your Patreon credits and how you give superchats to FD and Foreign Man when you pop into live streams. The internet is a terrible, scary place, and I love that people are trying to carve out little corners just to support each other and foster positivity and boost signals to smaller channels. Just takes a little power away from the people who come out just to hurt others. <3 to you!

Hi Jessie, I just finished this video & wow congratulations! Love your insights into the politics especially one of the most difficult aspects - understanding the mindset behind the alt right. It's not easy to think about & the urge is to just universally 'cancel' them but I appreciate the care with which you talk about this piece of it. We need many different approaches to fighting oppression. I don't know when I will get to see Resurrections with the ongoing pandemic but I loved getting to see some of the characters & scenes. And as a cishet straight woman with all the biases that come with that I want to go into the movie (eventually pls god) & view it without having to 'get' a lot of it only in hindsight. I just think it will be more meaningful as well as enjoyable that way. Keep up the great work! It sounds like when you trust your instincts, good things happen.
