omg, what's wrong with me today? i started the episode before turning on the podcast. lolz hi sing'n Jessie. and Newt is here, finally, he hasn't been here for a Long Road in a long time. and my synch was off because of my crappy interwebs, so not my fault Oh and Phlox is being flirty with the locals yeah, this is Seven Samurai and the allegory of poor nations who have oil reserves Archer "let me teach you deception and guile" lol this tear-down-and-rebuild reminds me of the old A-Team montages from the 80's and yes, love the Hoshi mini arc with the firearms. And yes Archer does have a great arc from explorer/scientist to soldier to statesman. it doesn't matter if it was intentional or not, the story was written and portrayed well. 𧑠we can find deuterium anywhere! we have sour grapes!
